Product Information
History cites Canadian nurse Rene Cassie for writing down this ancient herbal tea blend learned from Ojibwa patients. They claimed the tea could help align the spirit and the body. Although tests cannot be done to prove Essiac Tea Blend can help the spirit, it has been shown to help the body.
The herbs used are burdock root, sheep sorrel, rhubarb root and slippery elm. The botanicals are dried and pulverized so they can be stored for a long time without losing their medicinal properties. A tea form is the most convenient way of drinking this tried and true tonic. It is a much better beverage alternative than soda or coffee.
Essiac Tea can be brewed to the strength desired. If ill, then a stronger brew is recommended. If feeling well, drink a light brew. Since there are no additives or preservatives in Essiac Tea, use within three months of purchase.
What We Think
We think Essiac Tea Blend fits with just about anyone’s health care regimens. Centuries ago, medicines like herbal teas were consumed as protection against illness. This is different from conventional medicine, where the focus is to treat the patient only after they get sick.
Native American tribes often watched bears chew plants. This may be how they discovered Essiac Tea.
